The problem

Years of green and grey staining had spread across the rear render, heaviest below the windows and around the roofline where the wall stays damp longest.

The work

The wall was soft washed at low pressure using Sovereign's cleaning solutions, with the decking, planting and glazing covered before work started.

The result

The render came back to an even off-white across the whole elevation, including the areas under the windows.

Render soft washing — full gable elevation

The problem

The whole gable had darkened with vertical streaking running the full height of the wall, with the worst of it near the downpipe.

The work

Worked from the ground on a low-pressure pole so the render was never pressure washed, taking the wall down in sections from the roofline.

The result

An even finish across the full gable, right up to the roofline and around the pipework.

Roof moss removal — tiled roof

The problem

Thick moss had built up across the tiles, filling the channels between them and holding water against the roof.

The work

The moss was removed from the tiles and cleared away, working across the roof course by course.

The result

The tile profile and the channels between the tiles are clear and visible again.
