That is a property-by-property matter rather than something true of a whole town, so the roof and the gutter runs are looked at rather than assumed.

Render and walls inland

Modern thin-coat render — K-Rend and similar silicone systems — behaves the same way inland as it does on the coast: the texture that gives it its appearance also holds moisture and spores, so it greens up in time.

It is soft washed, never pressure washed. Solution at low pressure, dwell time, then an even rinse across the whole elevation. Pressure washing is reserved for hard landscaping.

Travel and honesty about coverage

Roof, render and soft washing work is covered up to around 50 miles from base where the job suits, and Garstang and the surrounding PR3 villages sit comfortably within that. Smaller and routine jobs generally do not justify the trip, and you will be told so rather than quoted a padded price.
